Design and build the physical structures and mechanisms that make our robots capable and reliable.
What you'll do
- Design mechanical systems and assemblies for robotic platforms
- Develop prototypes and iterate through design-build-test cycles
- Perform structural and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integration
- Manage transition from prototype to production-ready designs
What we're looking for
- Experience in mechanical design for robotics or complex mechatronic systems
- Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal)
- Experience with rapid prototyping and DFM
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
